A client of mine named Total Trust in her Higher Power as her top goal for herself on my spiritual counseling questionnaire (see my counseling page). What a fab goal to have! She inspired me to ask, where am I not offering total trust? This inquiry led me on a journey of synchronicity, connection and multiple unexpected blessings.
It was made clear to me yet again: STOP asking the HOW question! Have your vision, yes! Set your intention, do the work that's set before you each day and let go of how your vision will manifest. IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
By not living total trust, we get tangled up in the how and thwart our joy in the present. How am I going to make enough? How am I going to heal? How am I going to meet someone? How can I love myself more? How am I going to live the life I want? How can I be happy??
As a magnificent, limitless, spiritual being having a temporary human journey, the HOW question is a Hurdle Of Worry. Drop it. Let the guiding principle, H.P., Supreme Light -or whatever you choose to call it - take care of the HOW its going to happen, whatever it is. This is Trust and allows life to deliver countless UNANTICIPATED BLESSINGS! I say YES STAMP all over that ;)
Why am I writing about this? Because this is the work I'm doing in my life right now. And I can testify that magic happens when I operate from Total Trust and that's when I feel most alive and "on purpose" and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! hip hip hoorah!
